The Ibrahim Parlak Project

Kurdish activist Ibrahim Parlak fled Turkey after suffering torture. Granted political asylum, he started a new life and opened a restaurant in Harbert, Michigan. But now, the U.S. Government calls Parlak a terrorist; it has been trying to deport him for over 15 years. His story, told through the community that coalesced in his defense, is our latest.
